Arab Management Association [AMA] is a not for profit private [non governmental] organization founded in 1994 under the NGO law in Egypt by a group of Arab management professionals [academics and practitioners], who felt the need for improving and developing Arab management concepts and technologies, to promote modern management concepts and enhance the exchange of management knowledge and experience among its members in the different Arab countries.

    AMA founders recognized how the present state of change and turmoil in the world economics, politics, technologies and culture have affected Arab business organizations - like others all over the world -,so they saw the  need for a new management paradigm that would help meet the challenges and threats imposed by these severe conditions, hence, the idea to create a Pan Arab NGO to cater to the issues of developing and modernizing Arab management.
